Showing next . . .
Thursday 3rd May
Sally Hawkins turns in another subtly nuanced performance in the true story of artist Maud Lewis, a poor disabled woman whose artwork was purchased by a US president.
It tells how she was made homeless by her own brother, but managed to maintain some independence by working for - and eventually marrying - irascible fish seller Everett, played with prickly charm by Ethan Hawke.
Tattingstone Village Hall - the show will start at 8pm
Tickets are £4.50 on the door, or £4.00 in advance from the Wheatsheaf, White Horse, Case Is Altered, Stutton Community Shop, Bentley Community Shop, Marilyn (328876) or Annie (311462)
