Our favourite upper class family return to the big screen for the third time, but the focus now switches to newly-divorced daughter Lady Mary and how high society will treat her.

The late Dowager Countess - played impeccably by Maggie Smith - still maintains a presence overlooking the goings-on at the country pile, with all the regulars both above and below stairs contributing to screenwriter Julian Fellowe's entertaining tale.
